Renuka Foods PLC reported unaudited consolidated and company earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 2,110,500,000 against LKR 2,043,684,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 154,059,000 against loss of LKR 69,987,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 18,990,000 against loss of LKR 124,077,000 a year ago. Loss per share was LKR 0.08 against LKR 0.47 a year ago.
For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 8,441,946,000 against LKR 7,551,205,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 702,180,000 against LKR 146,735,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 371,429,000 against loss of LKR 105,370,000 a year ago. Profit per share was LKR 1.88 against loss per share of LKR 0.76 a year ago.
For the quarter, on company basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 3,437,000 against LKR 8,001,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 1,982,000 against LKR 9,105,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 1,641,000 against LKR 7,271,000 a year ago. Profit per share was LKR 0.01 against LKR 0.06 a year ago.
For the year, on company basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 41,104,000 against LKR 68,753,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 34,405,000 against LKR 65,365,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 34,090,000 against LKR 58,102,000 a year ago.
