RenovaCare, Inc. announced the appointment of Dr. Emanual Maverakis to its Board of Advisors. Dr. Maverakis is a renowned professor at the University of California Davis School of Medicine, holding appointments in the Department of Dermatology and in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology. A Harvard and University of California-educated dermatologist, Dr. Maverakis is an accomplished physician-researcher who specializes in treating patients with immune-mediated skin ulcers. He is the recipient of numerous honors including a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, which is the honor bestowed by the United States government for outstanding scientists and engineers. Dr. Maverakis participates as a Principal Investigator in a variety of investigator-initiated and company-sponsored clinical trials and his team has led national and international recruitment efforts for a variety of multicenter clinical studies.
