Rémy Cointreau reported a smaller-than-expected decline in third-quarter sales on Friday, citing significant destocking in China ahead of the Chinese New Year and an improvement in the United States despite a still difficult market.

Q3 sales totaled 319.9 million euros, down 26.9% year-on-year on a reported basis. Analysts were expecting 318.6 million euros, according to a consensus drawn up by the company. (Gaëlle Sheehan)
