RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 91.567 million compared to TWD 65.210 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 11.457 million compared to TWD 9.313 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 10.663 million compared to TWD 9.535 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.16 compared to TWD 0.14 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 297.932 million compared to TWD 187.670 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 45.900 million compared to operating loss of TWD 32.191 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 50.189 million compared to net loss of TWD 35.751 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.74 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.54 a year ago.
RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of microcontroller unit (MCU) semiconductor components. The Company provides MCU chips, which are applied in industrial personal computers (IPCs), flat panel displays (FPDs), measurement instruments, as well as microprocessor chips, which are applied in industrial computers boards, industrial controllers, industrial panel personal computers (PCs), computer numerical control (CNC) controller and others.
