Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 222.86 million compared to TWD 347.46 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 32.86 million compared to TWD 62.57 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.11 compared to TWD 2.13 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.09 compared to TWD 2.11 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 766.16 million compared to TWD 743.01 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 127.21 million compared to TWD 112.31 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 4.32 compared to TWD 3.8 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 4.22 compared to TWD 3.77 a year ago.
Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in design, manufacture and sales of radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) and integrated RF systems. The Company's main products are RFICs, including RF tuners, LNB outdoor units and satellite-related ICs. Its products are widely used in set-top boxes for TV, digital cable, terrestrial broadcasting andsatellite, as well as satellite front-end receiving systems and wireless RF transmission systems. The Company distributes its products within domestic markets and to overseas markets.
