Encore Networks, announced that they have standardized on the Quanta Computer Inc. (Quanta) LTE only module to run on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. As the nation's largest 4G LTE network, Verizon Wireless is available in over 500 U.S. markets and reaches approximately 95% of the U.S. population. Quanta's single mode, highly cost effective, ultra-low priced LI172 LTE module is the first LTE only mini-PCI-E module specifically designed for use on Verizon's 4G LTE network.

The Encore and Quanta partnership has produced a router that leverages the advantages of 4G LTE in M2M Business Continuity applications. Enterprises can utilize 4G LTE as a primary or back-up connection or as a dual module transport for maximum throughput solving the challenges and high costs associated with wired network outages. Among the four major wireless carriers, only Verizon's 4G network is 100% 4G LTE making it the gold standard of wireless technology.

Verizon has already deployed more LTE base stations than 3G towers and will continue to add more coverage. Going forward, this places Encore in a better position to capitalize on this growing market as customers realize that instead of settling for 2G/3G speeds and reliability they can future proof their network with LTE.
