QMines Ltd (ASX:QML) MD Andrew Sparke tells Proactive the company has identified visual evidence of copper mineralisation in the first drill hole at Artillery Road prospect within the flagship Mt Chalmers Copper and Gold Project, providing a promising start to a regional drilling program.

Drill hole ARRC001 intersected 20 metres of strong pyrite-pyrrhotite skarn sulphide mineralisation, with visual copper (chalcopyrite) present from about 113 metres of depth. He says with more than 30 electromagnetic anomalies still to test, QMines provides shareholders with significant leverage to further copper discoveries.

“Wow! What an excellent start to the regional drilling program,” QMines Sparke said.

“These results confirm that a new discovery has now been made at the Mt Chalmers project. The questions now are: how big could it get and how many more of these are there?

“With over 30 Electromagnetic anomalies still to test, QMines provides shareholders with significant leverage to further copper discoveries.”
