Qingdao Port International : upgraded the strategic cooperation with COSCO SHIPPING

News Center reported, on November 29th, when Boao 2018 Port and Shipping Company Seminar of COCOS-SHIPPING and Marine Alliance held in Hainan, Qingdao Port and COSCO-SHIPPING upgrade their cooperation. Under the witness of Mr.XU, Lirong, the chairman of COSCO-SHIPPING Group，Mr. WAN, Min, the CEO of COSCO-SHIPPING Group , Mr.ZHENG, Minghui， the chairman of Qingdao International Holding co., ltd (the 'Company') and Mr.ZHANG, QINGcai, the general manger of QQCT, the parties separately signed strategic cooperation agreement in logistics and finance field.

These strategic cooperation is to deepen and implement earlier agreement signed in May, representing the cooperation achieve to an upgrade. In the future, the parties will integrate their advantages and use the synergistic effect, to seize the new opportunities together in logistics and finance fields.

The relationship and cooperation of the Company and COSCO-SHIPPING Group kept a long time. Recently, facing the changeable situation of port and marine industry, the Company implemented the strategy named 'Modern Logistics and Three Strategies', to insist headquarter strategy of shipping companies, leading competitiveness and influence to increase, making relationship of the parties closer and closer, to upgrade comprehensive cooperation, getting abundant returns.

Since this year, COSCO-SHIPPING increased shipping lines and capacity in Qingdao Port, centered on Qingdao Port to set the shipping network in north area. It operated the more shipping routes, larger volume of transshipping containers and more handling containers than other shipping companies. Meanlwhile, the parties direct foreign investment in terminal project together, such as Vado Ligure Port in Italy and Abu Dhabi Port in United Arab Emirates. The parties also set up a global terminal operating platform.
