PVR Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 6,141.5 million compared to INR 454 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 7,097.1 million compared to INR 3,201.3 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 101.8 million compared to INR 491 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 1.63 compared to INR 8.21 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 1.63 compared to INR 8.21 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 7,938.6 million compared to INR 985.5 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 10,774.7 million compared to INR 4,860.9 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 3,827.5 million compared to INR 4,586.7 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 62.93 compared to INR 85.06 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 62.93 compared to INR 85.06 a year ago.
PVR INOX Limited is a film exhibition company in India with approximately 1713 screens across 362 properties in 115 cities in India and Sri Lanka. The Company is engaged in the business of movie exhibition, distribution and production and also in-house advertising, sale of food and beverages (F&B), gaming and restaurant business.
