Pure Technologies Ltd. : PURE TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW CONTRACT WORTH APPROXIMATELY US$1.2 MILLION

Pure Technologies Ltd. ("Pure") (TSX: PUR) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pure Technologies U.S. Inc., has received a notice of award of a contract worth approximately US$1.2 million by Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, Laurel, MD., ("WSSC") for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and operation of a SoundPrint® acoustic monitoring system at the Potomac Water Treatment Plant, Montgomery County, MD.  The system will monitor the structural integrity of the prestressed concrete pipe network within the plant.  This award is separate from, and in addition to, the recently-announced (January 18, 2012) expansion of the WSSC transmission mains inspection program.  The award is subject to completion of normal contract documentation requirements.
