PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk is an Indonesia-based company engaged in the production of tinplate. It operates through two segments: Coil and Sheet. The coil segment consists of sales of tinplate coils, which represent sales to customers who have the cutting machineries for processing their raw material into cans. The sheet segment includes sales in the form of sheets to customers who do not have cutting machineries, therefore, the Company performs cutting from coil into sheet based on the request from the customers. Its tinplate manufacturing operations are centered in the factory located in Krakatau Industrial, Cilegon - Banten, with an installed production capacity of approximately 160,000 tons per year. The main raw materials used in the production of tinplate are tin mill black plate (TMBP) and tin. TMBP is processed with a tin coating by electrolysis using the electrolytic tinning line (ETL) to produce tinplate. The tinplate product coming off the ETL is in the form of coils.
