Promethean World PLC : Saudi Arabia Selects Multi-User Interactive Technology from Promethean for 21st Century School Project

Promethean World Plc (LSE:PRW), a global education company, today announces it has been awarded a contract to deliver multi-user interactive display systems to 5,000 classrooms and 700 labs across Saudi Arabia.

The tender, announced today at the 2013 Education World Forum, will also give educators access to the company's teaching and learning software, ActivInspire, in Arabic and will provide training to ensure they have the ability to effectively use the technology to enhance education. Through Promethean Planet, a collaborative online community, educators will also have access to thousands of education resources in Arabic that they can use to create lessons to improve student engagement and boost learning productivity.

The project, financed with government funds, also includes hands-on training sessions with teaching and learning consultants. In these sessions, teachers will build an understanding of how to effectively use the technology and the skills to integrate it into their classrooms to boost learning productivity.
