On May 2, 2023, Ponce Financial Group, Inc., the holding company for Ponce Bank (the "Bank"), issued a press release announcing that U.S. Department of Treasury certified Ponce Financial Group, Inc. as a Community Development Financial Institution recognizing the company's critical role in bringing diversity and equity to banking for low income, Hispanic and African-American communities. The Company's press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
