Aquafina FlavorSplash, a line of sparkling and still water beverages and liquid water enhancers, is kicking off 2014 by encouraging teens everywhere to "Make a Splash" and celebrate their passions. To spread the word, the brand named pop singer Austin Mahone its Digital and Brand Strategist to help come up with ways to engage, inspire and excite young fans.

The brand's first-ever national commercial will include Mahone's new single, "Mmm Yeah," featuring Pitbull, debuting during the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Jan. 26. Mahone will perform the single live for the first time at PepsiCo's #PEPCITY Super Bowl XLVIII kick-off celebration in New York City on Jan. 29 before gearing up for the launch of Aquafina FlavorSplash's "Make a Splash" year-long program.

The "Make a Splash" program calls on teens who are passionate in various areas, such as music, entertainment, culinary arts and fashion, to submit videos on FlavorSplash.com and share why they deserve their dreams to become a reality. Seven teen winners will get the opportunity to experience their passion in a real-world, professional setting.

"I am honored to play a larger role on the brand and help encourage teens to a 'Make a Splash,'" said Mahone. "I'm excited to be part of a program that empowers teens to be creative and pursue their passions, whatever they may be, the same way I pursued my passion in music."
