Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE: PVA) announced today that it will participate in five upcoming investor conferences.

PVA will participate in the Oil & Gas Investment Symposium (OGIS) Florida, hosted by the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), in Palm Beach, on Thursday, February 2, 2012. PVA's presentation is scheduled for 3:10 p.m. Eastern time. H. Baird Whitehead, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities.

PVA will participate in the J.P. Morgan Global High Yield & Leveraged Finance Conference, in Miami Beach, on Monday, February 27, 2012. PVA's presentation is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Eastern time. Mr. Whitehead will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities.

PVA will participate in the 2012 Global Resources & Infrastructure Conference, hosted by Brean, Murray, Carret & Co., in New York on Thursday, March 1, 2012. James W. Dean, Vice President, Corporate Development, will discuss PVA's operations, strategy and recent activities.

PVA will participate in the High Yield Bond and Syndicated Loan Conference, hosted by Barclays Capital, in Phoenix, on Monday, March 26, 2012 and Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Steven A. Hartman, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities.

Lastly, PVA will participate in the 40th Annual Howard Weil Energy Conference, in New Orleans, on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 and Wednesday, March 28, 2012. PVA's presentation is scheduled for 2:40 p.m. Eastern time (1:40 p.m. Central time) on March 28, 2012.
