Paxys, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced net income was PHP 8.853 million compared to PHP 4.055 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 0.011 compared to PHP 0.005 a year ago. For the half year, net income was PHP 12.632 million compared to PHP 6.976 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 0.016 compared to PHP 0.009 a year ago.
Paxys Inc. is a Philippines-based investment holding company. The Company operates through its subsidiary, Scopeworks Asia, Inc. (SWA), which is an export-oriented business process outsourcing company. SWA provides outsourcing services, including data transcription services, customer service, facilities and support services, and back-office services to domestic and foreign institutions, as well as to multinational companies based in the Philippines and abroad. The Company operates through two segments, namely Outsourcing and Others. The Outsourcing segment includes primarily facilities management. The Others segment includes the operations of the parent company.
