Interpipe supplied railway wheels for Moroccan ONCF
Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, continues to hold the economic frontline of the country increasing the export of products, in particular, to African countries.

Recently, Interpipe successfully supplied to the Moroccan railways - Office National des Chemins de Fer - a large batch of more than 2600 pcs railway wheels.

ONCF usually holds tenders triennially on average concluding long-term agreements with suppliers. Within this contract Moroccan railways will use Ukrainian products for Fiat passenger cars fleet renovation of AnsaldoBreda electric train and freight railcars.

Olexandr Garkavyi, Railway Products Division Director at Interpipe:

- Interpipe has been cooperating with ONCF for almost 15 years. During this time the Company managed to establish itself as a reliable supplier of railway wheels. Now Morocco is expanding its rolling stock as part of the construction of high-speed electric train line, so Interpipe hopes to develop further its partnership with Moroccan railways. In general, the African continent is a promising market for the development of railway products sales. We already cooperate with Mauritania, Gabon, Egypt and intend to expand our presence in other countries of the region.

The company's products are marketed in more than 80 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets of Ukraine, Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2021, Interpipe supplied 602 kt of pipes and 174 kt of railway products.

Interpipe has 10 thousand people working at the company's facilities. During 2022 the Company transferred UAH 2.8bln in taxes to budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
