ON24 announced the appointment of industry sales veteran Jim Blackie as Chief Revenue Officer. The hire comes in the wake of explosive growth for the company in 2016. In his new role, Blackie will be focused on accelerating ON24's traction, spearheading the company's strategy to serve the global needs of its rapidly growing client base while delivering consistent revenue growth through the implementation of proven go-to-market approaches. Blackie will lead a number of departments at ON24, including new business sales, existing customer retention and growth, channel sales, and sales operations. Blackie will bring his wealth of experience in rapidly accelerating and scaling SaaS organizations to the role of CRO. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Sales atTriNet, where he was focused on building the organization's technology business in the SMB market space. Blackie previously served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at both Evolv and LRN, and has also held sales leadership roles at both Gartner and Xerox.
