OCL Iron and Steel Limited is an India-based company primarily engaged in the production of steel billets and sponge iron with plants located in iron ore and coal-rich. The Company’s segments include Steel, Power and Auto. Its products and process include steel billets, direct reduced iron (DRI) and power. It has a design range of approximately 80 square millimeters to 200 square millimeters. The Company exports approximately six megawatts (MW) of power to the grid. Its power is generated from the waste heat recovery boiler (WHRB) from the DRI process. The Company also has an over 14 MW captive power plant that supports all the energy requirements. It has mines or iron ore at Kundaposi near Barbil and Coal at Radihkapur near Talcher. The Company has production units at Rajgangpur, District Sundergarh, Orissa.
