Nippon Crucible Co., Ltd. (TSE:5355) signed a share transfer agreement to acquire Nippon Pcs Co. ,Ltd from Harufumi Ito and Hiroshi Kurita on March 30, 2021. under the terms of the transaction, Nippon Crucible Co., Ltd. will acquire 0.03 million shares of Nippon Pcs Co. ,Ltd. Harufumi Ito is selling 84.75% stake and Hiroshi Kurita is selling 15.25% stake. For the year ending December, 2020, Nippon Pcs Co. ,Ltd had total assets of ¥1.2 billion, net assets of ¥631.1 million, sales of ¥595.4 million, operating income of ¥20.8 million, net income of ¥24.6 million. On March 30, 2021, the transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of Nippon Crucible Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to close on April 5, 2021.

The Refractories segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of graphite crucibles, fixed refractories and irregular refractories, as well as the purchase and sale of casting materials.
