Fish Farm Mirai LLC is started〈Marine Business〉

Fish Farm Mirai LLC was started on October 1, 2021. It is a new LLC jointly established by Nichimo Co., Ltd., Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc., Nishinihon Plant Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. and Idouchi Salmon Farm Co., Ltd.

Fish Farm Mirai operates land-based salmon farming facilities. The optimum farming conditions are maintained with our IoT control technologies, which enable us a continuous, year-round farming operation. The LLC will start supplying its farmed salmon under its original brand, Mirai Salmon, in 2022.

It is an integral part of the new LLC's business to help reduce the burden on our oceans and achieve SDGs. At Fish Farm

Mirai, fish feces is processed with our microbial degradation system to mitigate its potential impact on the environment. Fish are fed with our special feed formulated to help reduce potential fecal pollution. This special feed is supplied by Nichimo Mariculture Co., Ltd., our group company.

Nichimo also supplies quality roe and fry to secure the LLC's successful operation.
