Due to the heavy rains falling in Doce river region, Baguari Hydro Power Plant (HPP) informs that it is expected an increase in the flows reaching its reservoir.
Baguari HPP also informs that:
The plant is monitored on a 24/7 basis and is currently within normal standards of operational excellence and safety;
Baguari HPP is a run-of-the-river plant. For this reason, the water volume arriving at the plant must be released, even in periods of heavy rainfall, since its reservoir has no storage capacity.
