American Cumo Mining Corporation named a new CEO and elected new directors including two Idaho businessmen. Shaun Dykes, a former CuMo project manager, is the new CEO. He initiated the company's rebranding and completed a management transition.

He was able to get an appeal dismissed in which environmental groups challenged Judge Edward Lodge's Aug. 29, 2012 decision in favor of the U.S. Forest Service. John Moeller, a principal at Fosgren Associates, is a director at CuMo.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering as well as a Master of Science from the University of Kentucky. He earned his doctorate in biology with an emphasis on water quality from Idaho State University. He has managed a regional office of the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.

Joseph Baird, a partner at Baird Hanson and a Northwest Mining Association board member, is also a director at CuMo. Baird provides environmental and mining counsel to mineral companies. He is a former president and secretary of the Northwest Mining Association board, a member and former trustee of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration.
