MTAG Group Berhad reported unaudited condensed consolidated earnings results for the quarter and year to date ended June 30, 2021. For the quarter, the company reported Revenue of MYR 40,989,000 against MYR 29,657,000 a year ago. Profit after tax was MYR 7,090,000 or Basic Earnings per share attributable to owners of the Company 1.04 sen per share against MYR 5,022,000 or 0.74 sen per share a year ago.
For the year to date, the company reported Revenue of MYR 193,637,000 against MYR 166,128,000 a year ago. Profit after tax was MYR 33,616,000 or Basic Earnings per share attributable to owners of the Company 4.93 sen per share against MYR 30,189,000 or 4.43 sen per share a year ago.
MTAG Group Berhad is a Malaysia-based converter company, which is engaged in the business of printing of labels and stickers and customized converting services for various materials. The Company operates through two segments: Converting and Distribution. The Converting segment is engaged in printing of labels and stickers and customized converting services. The Distribution segment is engaged in the distribution of industrial tapes, adhesives, and other products. It offers various products through its subsidiaries, including Toyo Sho Industrial Products Sdn. Bhd., Intag Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. and Intag Steel Hardware Sdn. Bhd. Toyo Sho Industrial Products Sdn. Bhd. is engaged in printing of label and stickers and die- cutting services. Intag Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. is engaged in converting and distribution of industrial tapes, adhesives, and other products. Intag Steel Hardware Sdn. Bhd. is engaged in converting and distribution of metal products.
