Work has begun on the construction of a new road segment between km 23 of the Kaluzhskoye Avenue and the Stolbovo Transport and Transfer Hub (TTH), in the area of the Solntsevo - Butovo - Vidnoye Highway, currently under construction. In accordance with the contract, Mostotrest will build a set of engineered structures, including transport tunnels, a split-level traffic interchange near the Stolbovo TTH, as well as functional access roads.

The new road will run parallel to a subway line currently under construction. Therefore, the project envisions construction of a combined triple tunnel with a length of 1,466 meters, to ensure subway traffic between the Prokhshino and Olkhovaya, and the Olkhovaya and Stolbovo subway stations, as well as two streams of road traffic on 4 lanes in each direction of the main road route. The tunnel will pass under the Kaluzhskoye Avenue at the intersection with the Solntsevo - Butovo - Vidnoye Highway. In addition, the project envisions construction of access and exit tunnels on the Kaluzhskoye Avenue, as well as a left-turn overpass in the area of the Stolbovo TTH, with a full scope of pre-construction works at the initial stage.

The project customer is the City of Moscow Road and Bridge Construction Management Municipal Office. The total contract amount is RUB27.5 billion (including VAT). The construction period is 520 days.

Mostotrest has been awarded the construction contract as a result of a tender conducted by the Moscow Department for Competition Policy. Mostotrest was the only bidder and was recognized as the sole supplier pursuant to provisions of Federal Law 44-FZ.

When completed, the new road will redistribute traffic flows between the main radial routes on the approaches to the Moscow Ring Road and improve transport links within the Novomoskovsk Administrative District of Moscow.

Mostotrest currently has deployed capacity in this area of Moscow: the Company is completing construction of the Solntsevo - Butovo - Vidnoye Highway (Borovskoye Avenue - Kaluzhskoye Avenue, and Kievskoye Avenue - Kaluzhskoye Avenue segments) and, in accordance with a recently concluded contract, has been building a new segment of the Moscow Subway Sokolnicheskaya Line, between the Salaryevo and Stolbovo stations.
