Herman Miller Inc. announced that on January 16, 2013, the company's board of directors approved an increase in the quarterly dividend to $0.125 per share. This payment will be made on April 15, 2013 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 2, 2013.

The International Contract & Specialty segment includes the operations associated with the design, manufacture and sale of furniture products, directly or indirectly through an independent dealership network. The Global Retail segment includes operations associated with the sale of modern design furnishings and accessories to third party retailers.
