Michael Hill International Limited reported unaudited revenue results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported group revenues for continued operations and same store sales were -1.3% and -2.9% respectively, showing significant improvement on the first quarter performance (from -8.8% and -11.0% in first quarter of fiscal year 2019). For the six months, the company reported Group revenues for continued operations and same store sales declined by 4.2% and 6% respectively for the six months to 31 December 2018, following a disappointing first quarter and October trading. The Company made a series of important changes to its marketing activities and event promotions during the Christmas trading period which resulted in an improved performance during the November and December months.
