MCUBS MidCity Investment Corporation (TSE:3227) agreed to acquire remaining 60% interest in Shibuya Sakuragaoka Square from a domestic corporation for ¥12.1 billion on January 12, 2017. An agreement is expected to be concluded by January 13, 2017. The deal will be financed from debt financing. For the year ended December 31, 2015, Shibuya Sakuragaoka Square had total annual rent of ¥685 million. The deal is expected to be closed on February 1, 2017. Daiwa Real Estate Appraisal Co., Ltd. acted as appraiser in the deal.
