Costs of legal risk related to foreign currency loans The Management Board of mBank S.A. ("Bank") informs that in connection with the decision taken on June 27, 2024 by the Bank, the costs of legal risk related to loans indexed to foreign currencies recognized in Q2 2024, amounted to PLN 1005,6 million. They result mainly from updates of court cases forecasts as well as updates to assumptions for penalty interest costs and other model and market parameters. The Bank informs that the estimated preliminary net result for Q2 2024 is positive. At the same time, the Bank informs that in Q2 2024, positive results in the core business were continued. mBank Group Tier 1 Capital Ratio and the Total Capital Ratio for Q2 2024 are expected to be considerably higher than the required level which for mBank Group amount to 9.1% for the Tier 1 capital ratio and 11.1% for the Total Capital Ratio. It is expected that surpluses above the capital requirements for Q2 2024 will reach above 4.0 p.p. over Tier 1 Capital Ratio and Total Capital Ratio. The liquidity ratios significantly exceed the regulatory requirements.
