Marufuji Sheet Piling Co., Ltd. (TSE:8046) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 650,000 shares, representing 1.79% of its share capital, at ¥335 per share for ¥217.75 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to enable a flexible financial policy which responds to the business environment, along with aiming for the improvement of its capital efficiency. As of July 31, 2017, the company had 36,398,770 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 3,601,230 shares in treasury.
MARUFUJI SHEET PILING CO., LTD. is a Japan-based manufacturer of construction materials. The Company is principally involved in the sale, leasing, process and transportation of steel sheet piles, H-section steel, earth retaining steel materials, lining boards, temporary system bridges, reinforced soil wall materials and processed iron frames for buildings, as well as the related construction works. The Company has three business divisions. The Sales division is engaged in the purchase and sale of materials. The Factory division specializes in the storage of leased materials, as well as the provision of repair, maintenance, manufacture and processing services. The Transportation division provides product transportation services.
