MERALCO Powers E-Jeepneys in Filinvest City. Aligned with its goal of pioneering innovative energy solutions, Meralco partnered with premier property developer Filinvest Land Inc. and transport services supplier Electric Vehicle Expansion Enterprise, Inc. (EVEE), and provided technical consultancy and energized the electric jeepneys (E-Jeepneys) running at the central business district in Alabang. The environmentally-friendly Filinvest City 360 Eco-Loop E-Jeepneys serve as the main mode of public transport within Filinvest City Alabang. This initiative underscores Meralco's thrust towards sustainability and efficiency in transportation - the company has been using EVs to transport employees and guests around in the Meralco corporate center since 2011 - which is part of a bigger mandate to bring to life cost-effective solutions for its customers and an energy-smart future for the nation.
