Manho Rope & Wire Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A001080) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 100,000 shares, at a price of KRW 17,650 per share for KRW 1,765 million. The purpose of the buyback is to enhance shareholder value and stabilize the stock price. The plan will be valid up to June 22, 2018. As on March 22, 2018, the company had 1,010,39 common shares and 190 other shares in its treasury.
MANHO ROPE & WIRE CO. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture of ropes. The Companyâs products include fiber ropes, wire ropes, stainless wires, stainless cables, hard drawn steel wires, piano wires, pre-stressed concrete (PC) wires, PC strands, elevator ropes, galvanized steel wires for aluminum stranded conductors steel reinforced (ACSR) and others, which are used in shipbuilding, mining, elevator, spring manufacturing, bridge construction and other industries. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
