Luxoft Holding, Inc (NYSE:LXFT), a leading provider of software development services and innovative IT solutions to a global client base, today announced its inclusion into Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers, now in its 32nd year. This is Luxoft’s fourth year of inclusion with a current ranking of 168, and the 2014 ranking is a 10 position increase from last year.

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.

“We are very excited our ranking has increased yet again recognizing our expertise in providing a comprehensive set of core and mission critical software development services,” said Luxoft CEO and President, Dmitry Loschinin. “Our software services continue to benefit many of our enterprise clients in our financial services, automotive and transport, travel and aviation, and energy verticals. Our services span the entire development lifecycle, and combine sophisticated processes for solving complex problems with domain and business knowledge, project management tools and global delivery capabilities.”

“The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers, and IT staff research and create the short list of business partners,” says John P. Desmond, editor. “It is a quick reference of vendor viability. And the online version, to be posted soon at www.softwaremag.com, is searchable by category, making it what we call the online catalog to enterprise software.”

The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue from the 2013 fiscal year. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services, and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware.
