Praxair to Build New South Carolina Plant to Supply Nitrogen to Toray Carbon Fibers

Praxair Inc. announced that it will open an air separation plant in South Carolina to supply Toray Industries' Toray Carbon Fibers America with nitrogen for use in producing carbon fiber. The provider of industrial gases said the plant is slated for start up in 2017.
