Lifestyle Communities Limited announced the retirement of one of its founding directors and the appointment of two new directors. The company advised that Bruce Carter has decided to retire as a Non-Executive Director of Lifestyle Communities with effect from August 21, 2017. The company to welcome The Hon. Nicola Roxon and Georgina Williams as Non-Executive Directors of the company with effect from September 1, 2017. During her 15-year political career, Nicola was the first female Attorney General of Australia and the Federal Minister for Health and Ageing. Prior to her political career she was an industrial lawyer at Maurice Blackburn and the National Union of Workers. Nicola is currently Chairman of Cancer Council Australia and the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Bupa Australia and New Zealand and the ASX listed Dexus Funds Management Limited. Georgina has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector having worked with National Australia Bank, Bank of Melbourne and, most recently, AustralianSuper. Her roles have included lending, strategy, brand and marketing, as well as customer acquisition and retention. Georgina is a Non-Executive Director of the ASX listed Reece Limited and has been named as the incoming Chief Executive of Food and Wine Victoria.
