Legacy Iron Ore Limited announced encouraging gold intersections received from the Company's recent RC drilling program at the Sunrise Bore Project. Drilling was designed to further test the Kingsley-2 and RAB-4 areas. The Company conducted a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program in March/June 2022 consisting of 17 inclined RC drillholes for 1,440 m. A total of 3 holes, out of 17 returned mineralisation with a maximum value received of 2.37g/t in SBRC019 at 60m drilled depth.

The results improve confidence in the project and provides additional targeting for follow up drilling in the future. Highlights: Results received from recent RC drilling program at the Sunrise Bore Gold project; Drilling intersected gold mineralization in 3 holes out of 17 (total drilled meters 1,440m); The intersections are: 2 m @ 0.67 g/t Au from 57 m in SBRC018, 3 m @ 1.36 g/t Au from 59 m and 2m @ 0.67g/t Au from 74m in SBRC019, 1 m @ 1.26 g/t Au from 53 m in SBRC033; Drilling was targeted to test the strike continuity of mineralization identified from 2021 drilling; and current results to be followed up with further RC drilling to define the continuity and extension of the mineralized zone. The Company is encouraged in its finding of gold mineralization in the highly prospective geological terrain and looking forward to running follow up drilling programs. The Company also aims to undertake exploration activities over other targets within the project while following up the recent results at Kingsley-2 and RAB-4.
