NHF purchases medical liens generally related to the provision of medical services to individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents where the services are required due to an injury sustained in the accident and where those individuals were the not-at-fault party (except in Michigan, which is a not-at-fault state). NHF's funding solution enables medical providers to maintain liquidity and reduce the administrative burden by managing the medical claims through the litigation process.
