Lasertec Corporation revised earnings guidance for the first six months of the fiscal year ending June 2015. For the period, the company now expects net sales of JPY 6,179 million against JPY 5,600 million as previously forecasted. The increase was as a result of increased export sales due to foreign exchange gains as well as of expedited sales of some products previously expected for later periods.

Operating income is expected to be JPY 1,751 million against JPY 500 as previously forecasted. The increase was as a result of increased sales (particularly of export sales denominated in foreign currency), product mix changes and reduced fixed costs. Ordinary income is expected to be JPY 1,775 million against JPY 500 as previously forecasted.

Net income expected to be JPY 1,182 million against JPY 300 as previously forecasted. Net income per share is expected to be JPY 52.44 million against JPY 13.31 as previously forecasted.
