On January 12, 2021, Las Vegas Sands Corp. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sheldon G. Adelson, passed away from complications related to treatment for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Company's press release is furnished hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
