Landstar System Inc. announced unaudited operating results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 27, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported total truck transportation was $811,247,000 against $643,584,000 a year ago. Total revenue was $862,830,000 against $691,975,000 a year ago. Number of loads for total truck transportation was 1,627,810 against 381,210 a year ago. Total number of loads was 422,960 against 381,210 a year ago. Revenue per load for total truck transporation was $1,979 against $1,741 a year ago. Ocean and air cargo carriers were $4,526 against $4,802 a year ago.
For the year, the company reported total truck transportation was $2,988,578,000 against $2,468,503,000 a year ago. Total revenue was $3,184,790,000 against $2,664,780,000 a year ago. Number of loads for total truck transportation was 1,579,910 against 1,456,010 a year ago. Total number of loads was 1,627,810 against 1,502,120 a year ago. Revenue per load for total truck transporation was $1,891 against $1,695 a year ago. Ocean and air cargo carriers were $4,610 against $5,143 a year ago.
