Krynicki Recykling Spólka Akcyjna plans to build a PLN 38 million waste glass processing plant. The company signed an agreement to buy a land plot of some three hectares in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, which will allow the company to take advantage of tax breaks for a period of six years. The plant will have a capacity to process about 150,000 tonnes of waste glass a year, raising the group's capacity to over 420 tonnes as of 2015, the CEO said.

The company was granted PLN 19 million in the EU subsidies for financing the project. At least 10% of the investment will be financed from the means that the company plans to obtain from a private issue of up to 1.2 million ex-rights shares. The remainder will be financed from a loan.
