Kina Petroleum Limited (Kina) is an Australia-based company engaged in pursuing, acquiring and developing energy related assets in Papua New Guinea and overseas. The Company's oil and gas projects include Petroleum Prospecting License (PPL) 337, PPL 338, PPL 339, PPL 340, PPL 435, PPL 436, PPL 437, Petroleum Retention Lease (PRL) 21 and PRL 38. The Company focuses on gas development options in the PRL 21 project. The PRL 38 is located offshore Gulf of Papua, and includes Pandora A and B reef gas discoveries. PPL 337 covers an area of approximately 5,500 square kilometers, and is located on shore in the Ramu Sub-Basin of the North New Guinea Basin. PPL 338 covers an area of approximately 3,160 square kilometers, and is located onshore Gulf Province within the eastern Papuan Basin. PPL 338 consists of a southern block of approximately 30 graticular blocks appended to the Uramu PRL, and approximately three blocks in the north consisting of approximately three graticulars each.
