Kenexa (NYSE: KNXA), a global provider of business solutions for human resources, announced today it will donate $10 from each ticket sold to Kenexa World Conference (KWC) Orlando to The mikeroweWORKS Foundation, which was established by Mike Rowe, the creator, executive producer and host of Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe.

Rowe's website serves as a "PR Campaign for Hard Work and Skilled Labor." His foundation provides tool stipends and scholarships to those looking to learn a skill and master a trade.

"Mike Rowe values hard work and has a passion for highlighting hardworking people around the world, so we think a good way to express our belief in his mission is to give our support to mikeroweWORKS Foundation," said Tim Geisert, chief marketing officer at Kenexa. "We know the HR professionals who attend KWC and hear Mike speak will be inspired to make an impact on the lives of their workforce, and in turn we want to make an impact on the good work being done by his foundation."

Rowe, a leading advocate for skilled labor, is partnering with Kenexa to deliver a keynote address at KWC Orlando, which will be held Oct. 17-18 at Disney's Contemporary Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Rowe's address will focus on his philosophy that hard work is noble and that dirt washes off. His message is a perfect fit for KWC. Kenexa helps companies all over the globe hire the best talent, maximize the performance of their workforce and match the right candidate with the right job.

At the end of the conference, Rowe will help Kenexa give away a new Ford automobile to one KWC Orlando attendee. Rowe is a national spokesperson for Ford.

Registration is now open for KWC Orlando 2012 at www.kenexaworldconference.com. The deadline for early registration has been extended until Sept. 14, which will save attendees $200 off the cost of the conference. The conference will include a full agenda of breakout sessions led by industry experts, keynote presentations, entertainment and special events.

About the mikeroweWORKS Foundation

As a key part of Mike Rowe's "PR campaign for hard work and skilled labor", the mikeroweWORKS Foundation was established to provide tool stipends, help fund scholarship programs and support other initiatives that reinvigorate trade school enrollments and industrial arts programs around the country. Recent highlights include providing tool stipends in concert with the AED Foundation and bringing competitors to the past two years' SkillsUSA National Competition. In addition to his foundation, Mike's website, mikeroweWORKS.com, calls attention to the growing skills gap in the trades, aging workforce, unfilled jobs, and provides comprehensive resources for anyone looking to explore those vocations. www.mikeroweWORKS.com.
