EXPECTED DECREASE IN LOSS

This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 17.10(2)(a) of the GEM Listing Rules and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the SFO.

The Board hereby informs the shareholders and potential investors of the Company that, based on the information currently available to the Board, including the unaudited management accounts and after preliminary assessment, the Group is expected to record a decrease in the loss attributable to the shareholders of the Company for the six months ended 30 June 2017 as compared to that for the corresponding period in 2016.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.

This announcement is made by Keen Ocean International Holding Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, collectively the "Group") pursuant to Rule 17.10(2)(a) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Growth Enterprise Market (the "GEM Listing Rules") of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Exchange") and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the "SFO").

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") hereby informs the shareholders and potential investors of the Company that, based on the information currently available to the Board, including the unaudited management accounts and after preliminary assessment, the Group is expected to record a decrease in the loss attributable to the shareholders of the Company for the six months ended 30 June 2017 as compared to that for the corresponding period in 2016.

Based on the information currently available, the Board is of the view that such decrease in loss was mainly attributable to the increase in turnover.

The information in this announcement is only based on preliminary review of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Company for the six months ended

30 June 2017 by the management of the Company and the information currently available, and hence may or may not be accurate. The unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2017 have not yet been finalised nor reviewed by the audit committee of the Company. The interim results of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2017 may be different to the information referred in this announcement. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to read carefully the Company's interim results announcement for the six months ended 30 June 2017, which is expected to be published on 9 August 2017.
