Kato Works Co.,Ltd. (TSE:6390) agreed to acquire IHI Construction Machinery Limited from IHI Corporation (TSE:7013) on October 25, 2016. Post acquisition IHI Construction Machinery Limited will be the subsidiary of IHI Construction Machinery Limited. The transaction is subject to approval from regulatory board. As of October 25, 2016 the board of Kato Works Co.,Ltd. (TSE:6390) approved the transaction. The transaction is expected to close by November 25, 2016. For the year ended March 31, 2016 IHI Construction Machinery Limited reported total sales of ¥22.08 billion.
