Kameda Seika Co.,Ltd. (TSE:2220) agreed to acquire TAINAI Co., Ltd. from Kyuei Ono and Harumi Ono on May 8, 2021. Kameda Seika Co.,Ltd. will acquire 0.0002 million shares in TAINAI Co., Ltd. Kyuei Ono will sell 80% stake and Harumi Ono will sell 20% stake in TAINAI Co., Ltd. TAINAI Co., Ltd. reported sales of ¥173 million for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020. The completion expected date of July 1, 2021.
KAMEDA SEIKA CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in manufacture and sale of rice crackers and snacks. The Company is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of rice crackers and premium rice crackers for supermarkets, convenience stores, mass retailers, theme parks, and department stores. It is also engaged in the storage and distribution of rice crackers and raw materials, and other food products manufactured by other food manufacturers. It is also engaged in the production, process and sale of agricultural products, and the sale and maintenance of automobiles.
