Jyothy Laboratories Limited reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, on standalone basis, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 4,343.3 million against INR 4,087.8 million a year ago. Total income was INR 4,412.7 million against INR 4,135.4 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 484.1 million or INR 1.32 per basic and diluted share against INR 372.8 million or INR 1.03 per basic share a year ago.
For the nine months, on standalone basis, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 12,645.9 million against INR 11,696.4 million a year ago. Total income was INR 12,810.7 million against INR 11,880.8 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 1,261.2 million or INR 3.46 per basic share against INR 1,001.8 million or INR 2.76 per basic share a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were INR 3.43 compared to INR 2.73 a year ago.

The Company is principally engaged in manufacturing and marketing of fabric care, dishwashing, personal care, and household insecticide products, and also provides laundry and dry-cleaning services. The Fabric Care segment includes fabric whitener, fabric enhancer, detergent powder, detergent liquid and bar soap. The Dishwashing segment includes dish wash bar, gel, liquid, dish wash scrubber, dishwash steel scrubber and dishwash powder. The Household Insecticides segment includes mosquito repellent coils, liquids, and insect repellent sticks. The Personal Care segment includes body soap, Insecticides toothpaste, deodorants, talcum powder, after shave and hand wash.
