Invertec Foods SA is a Chile-based company engaged in the agricultural and food processing sectors. Its activities include the production and distribution of dehydrated and frozen fruits and vegetables, such as red and green bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, artichokes, leek, celery, zucchini, apples, pears and prunes, among others, as well as the production of fruits and vegetables juices and concentrates. The Company’s facilities comprise a natural juice plant, a dehydrated food plant, a frozen products plant and apple orchards. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Invertec Agrofood SA and Invertec Natural Juice SA, as well as it also held a 50% stake in Invertec Corporativo Asesorias e Inversiones Ltda, and Inversiones y Tecnologia Ltda was the Company’s majority shareholder with 82.03% of its interest.
