Intereuropa appointed Ales Klavzar as management board member. Klavzar will serve a four-year term of office as board member in charge of finance and will also be a vice president. The mandate of Klavzar will begin on June 1. Klavzar is an expert in finance and accounting with long-standing experience in corporate management and governance.
In February, Intereuropa said its managing board president Damijan Vajs resigned. The company did not reveal the reasons for the resignation, but the move comes after a thorough restructuring of the management of the company's majority shareholder, state-run Posta Slovenije, launched after the government of prime minister Robert Golob took office last year. Vajs will lead the company until the appointment of new board members or until June 3 at the latest.
