Intel announced at CES its intention to extend its AI strategy into the automotive market.

The company signed an agreement to acquire Silicon Mobility for advanced energy management in electric vehicles and a new family of AI-enhanced software-defined vehicle SoCs.

Intel also announced a new family of AI-enhanced software-defined vehicle SoCs for energy management in electric vehicles (EVs).

' Intel's AI-enhanced SDV SoCs combine the best of Intel's AI PC and data center technologies needed to support a true software-defined vehicle architecture,' said Weast, vice president and general manager of Intel Automotive.
